This song was written outside of the studio on the morning of the second day of drum tracking. I smushed two separate song ideas together, and recorded the guide track quickly, before doing some drum takes. Very spontaneous and not analyzed in the least. The lyrics somewhat wrote themselves after the initial, "Baby, sooner or later you're gonna be my girl." Oh, pining.....
